Ashberry is a premium Korean boutique built on a simple idea: clothing should support your lifestyle, not limit it.

It began as a side project in San Francisco, when Ashley was working in tech and constantly frustrated by how impractical many office outfits were. They often felt perfect for a moment but not for a full day.

 

When there were social events, long meetings, airport runs, or shifts in weather, she often needed to change. Her body shape also changed over time, and shopping across the US and Korea made the process even more difficult.

So she started designing for one person: herself.

 

The first Ashberry wrap dress came from a list of real, everyday needs. It had to breathe, stay durable, resist wrinkles, avoid showing sweat, flatter different body shapes, and still look refined. It went through multiple prototypes and months of testing through commutes, heat, workdays, dinners, and travel. 

What started as a personal solution soon caught the attention of her colleagues, then women across the office, and through Ashley’s blog, interest quickly spread throughout Korea as well.

That same philosophy shaped many products that followed. Her lightweight togo leather tote was designed after years of carrying bags that became black holes: a laptop, water bottle, makeup, files, a book, all jumbled together. So she built compartments that made sense, without adding weight or bulk. 

Her convertible sandals were created for days that needed both comfort and structure. You could slip them on easily or secure the strap for a snug fit during long walks.

 

These items have gone through months of prototyping, wear testing, and refinement. Ashberry is not focused on fast fashion or constant turnover. It is about thoughtful design that supports your daily rhythm, with pieces that feel good, move comfortably with you, and hold up over many years.
